Sea scallops have a rich flavour that scale from mild to briny with an underlying sweetness. The sea scallop remains tender when pan seared and grills in under 5 minutes. Because the scallop is quick frozen in the center of the shell, marinades and sauces are kept in place on the grill helping to retain moisture. Its presentation on the half shell is elegant on the plate or also practical to use as a small dish for eating outdoors.
