Smokey Bay Seafood Group sells and markets seafood caught primarily in the North Pacific.
We trade in: Farmed shellfish, such as oyster, clam, scallop; wild crustaceans; farmed and wild salmon; and various high value seafood such as geoduck, black cod, and live dungeness crab. Our primary markets are North America and Asia. We are experienced in organizing the delivery of fresh and frozen seafood to major urban centres worldwide. We sell to distribution for foodservice and retail. We are a licensed FDA Shellfish Shipper, a CFIA licensed Fish Importer. HACCP, Marine Stewardship Council certified and an Ocean Wise partner.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with a USA sales office in the Port of Los Angeles, Smokey Bay was incorporated in 1998.
An ethos of sustainability and quality are adhered to. We have five staff with over 60 years combined experience in seafood purchasing and sales. Our staff is multilingual with fluency in English, French, Norwegian, Vietnamese, and Farsi.
