Team Bio and Background

Alan Kenney – Senior Sales Associate

 Alan Kenney has over 20 years of experience in both the aquaculture, marine bio-processing and environmental management sectors.  A bio-resource engineer by profession, Alan worked for the BC Salmon Farmers Association as their Technical and Marketing Consultant during the formative years of the start-up of the industry in British Columbia in the mid-1980’s.  He also worked for Ocean Biosource Inc., a manufacturer of specialty marine proteins, as their Sales and Marketing Manager and established their global sales and distribution network.  Alan pursued his interest in wild salmon restoration as Director of Salmon Programs with Pacific Salmon Foundation, the leading salmon conservation organization in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Alan worked as an environmental consultant with a large environmental consulting firm.  Alan brings his many years of experience to Smokey Bay Seafoods as their Senior Sales Associate.
