Established in 1998 Smokey Bay Seafood Company specializes in the sales and marketing of farm raised and wild caught shellfish to domestic and export markets.

 

Smokey Bay was initally a smoked oyster company. In 1999 we launched a line of gourmet smoked oysters in varous marinades.  By working with our suppliers, oyster farmers, we developed a keen appreciation for the shellfish business.

Over time our company's purpose evolved into providing global marketing expertise to North America’s finest shellfish farms.

In the past decade we have created a network of producers and buyers as well as logistics solutions.

We bring buyers and producers together and find the ideal logistics solution to deliver the most innovative live, fresh and frozen shellfish options to food service and retail distributors in North America, Asia and Europe.

Marketing programs backed by research and pricing strategies targeting importers, distributors and wholesalers is the main service we provide to oyster, mussel and clam farmers.

We participate in trade shows, workshops, sales seminars and direct sales calls on behalf of Smokey Bay Seafood's clients.
